I read Fablehaven book #3 Grip of the Shadow Plague

Kendra goes to Lost Mesa to get an artifact to stop the Society from opening the demon prison. Seth finds that his best friend Newel  the satyr has turned dark. Kendra discovers that the artifact got taken to fablehaven. When she comes back to Fablehaven on her first night at home dark Brownies storm the house. They set all sorts of death traps to kill them. They avoid the traps and stop the plague.

I have enjoyed the Fablehaven series. It has a lot of action, mystery, and mythical creatures. I would recommend this boot to anyone who likes action, and fantasy. If you have read any of Brandon Mull's books ( aka Beyonders and The Five Kingdoms ) you will love this book. It is 473 pages long and book 3 in the five book series. It is a perfect sit-down-on-the-beach kind of book.
